About Us

We are Gillis and Regina Martin. Our love for our dogs and the Maltese breed had to eventually become a hobby business. Our home is filled with a special love that only a loving pet can bring. Our desire is that others enjoy that same kind of love.

Our Business

We started out just to earn enough to compensate for the cost involved in keeping pets. My husband, Gillis is ready to retire, so we decided to build a small kennel. Our kennel is in our back yard and our pets are kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We constantly monitor them to make sure they are comfortable. They are never locked in cages or kept penned up. We are in and out of their area day and night. Our grandchildren are allowed to play with them. Their health and welfare is always first. We screen potential buyers so as not to allow them to go to puppy mills, dishonest breeders, or pet stores. All of our full blooded dogs are AKC. We also have mixed breeds, bred only with full blooded parents. These puppies are registered with CKC. Our promise is that our customers will receive only the finest quality puppy.

Our Promise

We have always tried to assure every buyer that contacts us that we are a reputable breeder. We always give references when asked and our Veterinarian has always talked with any of our buyers that call him. We give our pets the best of care and every puppy that leaves here has been loved on, kissed and had exceptional care. We give a contract and guarantee. We have never had a puppy returned to us because of a genetic defect or health issue. We try in every way to meet our buyers expectations, while at the same time, we are screening our buyers so that our puppies don't go to people that will abuse or misuse them. If we don't have the puppy you are looking for, we will help you find it with a reputable breeder.

The weather is nice most of the time.
We have hot summers but most winters are mild.
Our puppies are allowed to play outside as much
as they like. They are usually asking to go out before
they are 6 weeks old.
We find it very helpful in their "potty training".

 

A Word About Scammers

Unfortunately there are many people out there just trying to make money off others hard honest work. This makes it hard for honest breeders to sell their quality dogs and puppies. Help us fight this practice.

1. Make sure you talk personally with the person in the ad.

2. Get a phone number and call them back at least once.

3. Ask them to send you a picture of something unusual with the puppy so that you will know they do have that particular puppy (such as a canned drink specified by you).

4. Never send money until you have talked with them and are comfortable with them. Never allow them to send someone to pick up the money.

5. Always ask for references and email or call them. Their veterinarian is the best reference as to their breeding practices.

6. Don't buy from pet shops or brokers. They don't always know the quality of the puppy or the breeder.

7. If in doubt, don't buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
